Advantech Showcases High-Performance Computing for Copy Exactly! Environments at SEMICON West 2026

San Francisco, October 12th, 2026 – Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in intelligent systems and embedded platforms, will showcase high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure and edge artificial intelligence (AI) platforms built for the reproducibility demands of semiconductor manufacturing at SEMICON West 2026, held October 13–15 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Under the theme "High-Performance Computing for Copy Exactly! Environments," Advantech will present rack-level computing and inspection solutions for wafer fab equipment, advanced packaging, and process control at Booth #5561, North Hall.

SEMICON West returns to San Francisco under the banner "Transform Tomorrow," bringing together semiconductor manufacturers, equipment and materials suppliers, engineers, and decision-makers from across the microelectronics supply chain. Advantech's presence addresses a challenge that sits at the center of that transformation: as fabs adopt AI-driven process control and high-resolution inspection, the computing infrastructure supporting those workloads must meet the same standard of exact reproducibility that governs the tools themselves.

First shown at COMPUTEX 2026, SKYRack SEMI will be featured at SEMICON West as a complete rack-level solution integrating computing nodes, graphics processing unit (GPU) nodes, networking, and a cooling distribution unit (CDU). The integrated approach reduces deployment complexity and shortens implementation timelines, eliminating the need for extended site layout planning and multi-vendor system integration.

SKYRack SEMI is certified to SEMI S2 standards, meeting stringent environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements for semiconductor manufacturing environments. Advantech also offers customization for half-rack and full-rack configurations, with cooling and computing designs adapted to specific site conditions — allowing fabs to standardize a validated configuration and reproduce it across facilities.

Advantech will also showcase a GPU-powered data acquisition (DAQ) platform designed for data-intensive advanced packaging and structural inspection applications. As manufacturers adopt 3D, ultrasonic, and high-resolution signal-based inspection, increasingly large volumes of high-speed data must be processed in real time.

Using NIVIDA GPUDirect zero-copy data streaming, the platform transfers high-speed data directly from the DAQ system to GPU memory, reducing CPU overhead and accelerating parallel processing. Paired with the NVIDIA CUDA-integrated DAQNavi SDK, the platform simplifies high-speed data streaming and helps turn massive production data into real-time AI decisions for faster process optimization and improved yield.
